Woodshop
This class is designed for beginners to become familiar with woodshop safety and basic design and fabrication protocols. It is also designed for students with prior woodshop training to continue exploration in working wood. We will explore the processes by which wood is harvested and engineered into viable materials, what applications are available to these materials as well as typical machining procedures for certain types of wood and wood products. Most of the projects will be available for you to take home.
Course may count as elective credits OR may fulfill Eng. 11, Eng.12, Economics, Algebra 2 or 4th year math.
